Micron's Boise Facilities team supports critical facilities and infrastructure that keeps manufacturing running safely and reliably. Our team partners closely with environmental, operations, and construction groups to manage complex systems while building the foundation for Micron’s future in Boise. This Waste Coordinator role is essential to protecting site operations as ID1 comes online. You will coordinate daily waste activities today while helping shape how waste systems operate at scale tomorrow. As the site grows, this role becomes the trusted waste systems SME, influencing long-term strategy, system design, and operational readiness.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate high purity and industrial waste activities to prevent impact to site and manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across RCRA, CFR49, PPE, CoHE, and hazardous waste requirements.
  • Serve as the primary link between waste technicians and the environmental team, calling out risks and driving resolution.
  • Support projects, system installations, and modifications using structured project management practices.
  • Analyze operational data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of direct waste management experience.
  • 2 years of coordination experience in an industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams or projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of coordination experience in semiconductor or industrial environment.
  • Experience with RCRA and Subpart BB regulations.
  • Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial equipment.
  • CFR49 certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
